About the Role

As a Product Manager/Owner, you will be a pivotal figure in translating the company's product vision into tangible, user-centric features. This is a hands-on role where you'll share responsibility for the entire product offering alongside another Product Manager. Your dual focus will encompass both strategic planning and the day-to-day operational execution required to bring products to life. You'll be instrumental in ensuring that ideas are not only conceived but also meticulously organised, efficiently developed, and thoughtfully prioritised to achieve maximum impact. This position requires a proactive individual who is driven to actively shape and enhance a product, rather than merely manage its existing state.

Your responsibilities will span the entire product development lifecycle, from the initial spark of an idea through to its successful launch. A key part of your role will involve the meticulous prioritisation of the product backlog. This prioritisation will be guided by a clear understanding of business objectives, valuable user feedback, and the practicalities of technical feasibility. You will be responsible for maintaining and structuring the backlog, ensuring that each item is clearly defined with well-articulated acceptance criteria and realistic estimates.

Developing and refining the product roadmap will be another core duty, including the detailed planning of quarterly objectives. You will organise and facilitate all essential Scrum rituals, such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Daily Stand-ups, ensuring effective team collaboration and communication. A significant aspect of the role involves maintaining open and clear communication channels with all stakeholders, both internal teams and external partners. You will actively participate in user feedback sessions and sales meetings, translating these insights into actionable user stories and epics for the development team. Furthermore, you will be tasked with defining and continuously improving key product performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for future development. Close collaboration with UX research, engineering teams, and the Chief Product Officer (CPO) will be essential to ensure alignment and drive product excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant professional experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner within an agile technology environment. A solid understanding of product development methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, is expected.
