Too many South Africans spend hours moving between different job sites, re-uploading the same CV, applying to outdated listings, or trying to figure out which opportunities are legitimate. At the same time, recruiters are often forced to pay high fees just to access candidates who are already actively searching for work online.

We believed there had to be a better way.

So we built JobVault.

Not as another generic job board filled with noise, duplicate listings, and confusing processes — but as a platform focused on clarity, accessibility, and trust.

Our story

JobVault started from a simple frustration.

We watched talented people spend hours searching for work across multiple platforms, often finding the same jobs reposted repeatedly in different formats. Many listings lacked transparency, some were outdated, and others simply wasted people's time.

In a country where unemployment affects millions, the job search process should not feel this difficult.

At the same time, many recruiters and smaller businesses struggled to advertise vacancies affordably. Posting jobs online had become expensive, fragmented, and often inaccessible for growing companies trying to hire.

So instead of building another platform that profits from frustration, we decided to build one focused on usefulness.

All recruiters can register for free and upload unlimited job listings for the entire 2026 calendar year — no fees, no limits. Pricing will be adjusted in 2027, and we'll give plenty of notice before any changes take effect.
