Founder & Editor

Nompilo Höcher founded JobVault in 2024 with a clear mission: to create a job platform South Africans can trust. After seeing job seekers spend hours navigating outdated listings, misleading vacancies, and overcrowded job boards, she set out to build a simpler, more transparent alternative focused on quality over quantity. As Founder and Editor, Nompilo leads JobVault's product strategy, business operations, and editorial direction. She is also the platform's sole editor, personally writing or reviewing every article, career guide, and resource published on the site. Her work is grounded in the realities of the South African employment landscape, covering topics such as UIF, labour law, employment rights, BBBEE, CCMA processes, and practical job-search advice. Nompilo is committed to ensuring that JobVault remains a reliable source of opportunities and career guidance for South African job seekers.

Head of Recruiter Partnerships

Mathias Höcher oversees recruiter and employer partnerships at JobVault, ensuring that organisations can connect with qualified candidates through a trusted and straightforward hiring platform. He manages recruiter onboarding, account verification, and ongoing support for employers of all sizes — from small businesses hiring for their first role to established recruitment agencies managing multiple vacancies. In addition to overseeing South African recruiter relationships, Mathias leads JobVault's partnerships with German recruitment agencies and employers seeking talent in South Africa. He also works closely with companies recruiting German-speaking professionals living in South Africa, helping connect bilingual candidates with local and international career opportunities. His primary focus is maintaining the integrity of the JobVault marketplace by ensuring that every recruiter meets platform standards and that job listings are genuine, accurate, and transparent.

Kelvin Charamba manages the day-to-day quality of the JobVault job board, helping ensure that vacancies remain accurate, relevant, and easy for candidates to discover. He oversees job listing administration, categorisation, and quality control processes that keep the platform organised and user-friendly. From verifying application links and removing expired vacancies to ensuring roles are correctly tagged by industry, location, and experience level, Kelvin plays a key role in maintaining the reliability of JobVault's listings. His attention to detail helps job seekers find legitimate opportunities quickly and efficiently.

One editor. Nompilo is JobVault's sole editor. She writes or personally reviews every blog post and career guide before it's published — no anonymous freelancers, no auto-published AI content.
South African focus. All career guidance is written for the South African context — UIF, BCEA, CCMA, BBBEE, public vs private sector hiring — not republished from overseas sources.
Recruiter verification. Mathias and Nompilo personally review every recruiter account before that company can post jobs.
Corrections. If you spot an error in an article or job listing, email info@jobvault.co.za and we'll fix it and add a correction note.
