Manager, Insurance Sales Enablement

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity within Liberty's Insurance Sales Enablement team, based in Roodepoort, Gauteng. The primary purpose of this role is to elevate the service delivery standards of the Standard Bank Insurance Brokers Contact Centre. You will be instrumental in equipping contact centre staff with the necessary technical, operational, compliance, and process support across all systems and a comprehensive range of Standard Bank Insurance Brokers (SBIB) services. The ultimate goal is to ensure that these systems and processes are not only efficient but also streamlined, contributing directly to an exceptional client experience.

Your responsibilities will centre around optimising the operational environment for the insurance contact centre. This involves:

• Providing essential technical and operational support to ensure smooth daily functioning.
• Upholding and monitoring compliance standards within all contact centre activities.
• Facilitating seamless Point of Contact (POC) processes to enhance client interactions.
• Developing and implementing effective process improvements across all SBIB services.
• Identifying and addressing inefficiencies within existing systems and workflows.
• Championing initiatives that simplify processes, directly impacting client satisfaction.
• Acting as a key resource for the contact centre team, disseminating knowledge and best practices.

What They're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in the insurance sector, coupled with a deep understanding of both front and back-office operations. A significant degree of experience within the insurance industry is essential, with exposure to both short-term and long-term insurance products being highly advantageous.

**Key requirements include:**

• A relevant First Degree in Business or Commerce.
• Demonstrable experience in the insurance industry, including an understanding of sales processes.
• Expertise in managing change within a sales or operations environment.
• Proficiency in training and development initiatives.
• Solid project management skills.
• A thorough understanding of insurance processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Familiarity with fraud detection and management techniques within the insurance context.
• Proven ability to manage tasks effectively and deliver tangible outputs.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to interpret data and provide insightful recommendations.
• Strong observational skills and the ability to adopt practical, actionable approaches.
• A commitment to following established procedures while also being open to embracing change.
• The capacity to build rapport, empower individuals, and document facts accurately.
