About the Role

As an Enrollment Specialist, you will be at the forefront of attracting and guiding individuals towards further education. This is a dynamic position where you'll engage directly with potential students, understanding their aspirations and helping them navigate the path to enrolment. You will be a key point of contact, providing information, support, and encouragement throughout their application journey. The role demands a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for education's transformative power. The core of this position revolves around proactive engagement and supportive guidance:

• **Prospect and Applicant Outreach:** You will initiate contact with individuals who have expressed interest in 2U's programmes. This involves making a significant volume of outbound calls to secure scheduled appointments and maintaining consistent email correspondence to nurture their intent to apply.
• **Programme Consultation and Coaching:** You will deliver approved sales presentations virtually, effectively communicating the value and benefits of various educational programmes to prospective students. A crucial aspect is qualifying applicants, ensuring they meet university admission requirements and that the chosen programme aligns with their career objectives.
• **Enrollment Process Facilitation:** Your role extends to actively supporting and mentoring students as they progress through the entire enrollment process. This means providing timely follow-up, troubleshooting any challenges, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience from initial inquiry to successful registration.
• **Expertise and Mentorship:** As you gain experience, you'll become a subject matter expert on 2U's programmes and partner universities. More experienced individuals will be expected to proactively coach and engage with team members, share knowledge, and potentially contribute to training and onboarding new colleagues.
• **Process Improvement:** You'll be encouraged to identify opportunities for enhancing existing processes and strategies, proposing solutions that contribute to the team's overall success and efficiency.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to build rapport quickly with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
