About the Role
The core of this position is to act as a strategic advisor, leveraging a deep understanding of workforce analytics to inform and influence key business and people strategies. You will be instrumental in translating complex organisational challenges into data-driven questions, developing hypotheses, and ultimately providing clear, compelling insights and recommendations. This is not about generating standard reports; it's about proactively identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within the workforce, and articulating these in a way that empowers senior leaders to make faster, more confident decisions. You will champion a culture of evidence-based decision-making, ensuring that people strategies are grounded in robust data and insights.
This position also involves fostering a broader community of practice. You will be expected to share your expertise, best practices, and insights, contributing to the overall enhancement of data literacy and analytical capability across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of analytical and advisory functions, including but not limited to:
- Providing trusted advisory services to the CIB People & Culture leadership team, directly supporting the development and execution of people strategies.
- Translating intricate business priorities into data-driven inquiries, generating actionable insights, and formulating strategic recommendations.
- Identifying emerging workforce trends, potential risks, and untapped opportunities, and synthesizing these into coherent narratives and practical intervention plans.
- Developing decision-ready insights that surpass routine reporting, thereby enabling strategic business choices and influencing senior stakeholders through compelling data storytelling.
- Integrating diverse data domains to create a holistic view of the workforce and its impact on business outcomes.
- Championing the adoption of evidence-based decision-making processes throughout the CIB division.
- Contributing actively to a wider professional network, disseminating best practices, and elevating analytical competencies organisation-wide.

- A minimum of 8-10 years demonstrating deep expertise in workforce analytics is required.
- A proven track record of translating complex data sets into strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
- Established experience in applying problem-framing and hypothesis-driven thinking to address complex organisational issues.
- A demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively through persuasive data storytelling and advisory skills.
- Experience in integrating multiple data sources to derive comprehensive workforce and business insights.
- A history of enabling leaders to make faster, more confident decisions regarding their teams and workforce strategies.
