Manager Analytics – Financial Control (CIBT)

The role is a senior, full scope financial management role for the relevant cluster. Stakeholder engagement and commercial understanding are key success factors and the successful applicant will support financial decision making and execute on internal and external reporting. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to upskill and learn about these more specialized businesses. The successful applicant will also be expected to understand and contribute to the wider Financial Control strategy threads of process improvement and credible reporting.

• Designing, developing and implementing analytical tools which will provide comfort that internal and external reporting is accurate.
• Ensuring that team members have a detailed understanding of products and businesses to enable relevant design and interpretation of analytics.
• Provide input into external reporting deliverables using business knowledge.
• Provide commentary on external or internal reporting.
• Assist the Financial Controllers in continuously evaluating and enhancing the control framework.
• Designing, developing and implementing processes and systems for external reporting accuracy.
• Responsible for timely and accurate external reporting.
• Reviewing reporting and commentary for accuracy.
• Managing and delivering major projects within agreed scope, budget and timelines.
• Providing leadership to junior team members.

• Chartered Accountant (Financial Services experience preferred)
• 1-3 years of relevant reporting, analytics, or project management experience.
• Very strong academic track record.
• Strong problem-solving and data analytical skills.
• Strong technical accounting skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and team-working skills.
• Ability to work in a pressured environment and meet tight deadlines.
