A leading financial services group is seeking a Specialist to shape and lead its integrated social media and web presence content strategies. This role is pivotal in enhancing brand awareness and reputation, improving online discoverability, driving user engagement, and supporting broader marketing and business unit objectives across the organisation.

About the Role

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the development and oversight of content strategies that leverage data, audience intelligence, and AI-enabled capabilities. This involves implementing personalised approaches and optimising for search engines across the group's extensive digital ecosystem. The aim is to foster a superior digital experience for all stakeholders, ensuring that the group's online presence is dynamic, engaging, and aligned with its corporate goals. Key Responsibilities

The specialist will be instrumental in crafting and executing a forward-thinking content strategy for the group's social media and web platforms. Key responsibilities include:

  • **Content Strategy Development:** Designing and implementing comprehensive content strategies that align with overarching business goals, focusing on enhancing brand awareness, reputation, and customer engagement.
  • **Digital Ecosystem Management:** Overseeing the creation and distribution of high-quality, engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written copy, across various digital channels.
  • **Audience Engagement:** Developing and managing social media campaigns, fostering community interaction, and responding to user inquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • **Data-Driven Insights:** Utilising data analytics, audience intelligence, and AI capabilities to inform content creation, personalise user experiences, and optimise campaign performance.
  • **Search Optimisation:** Implementing search engine optimisation (SEO) best practices to improve the discoverability of content and drive organic traffic.
  • **Performance Measurement:** Tracking, analysing, and reporting on key social media and web metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Working closely with marketing teams, business units, and other stakeholders to ensure content strategies are integrated and support their specific objectives.
  • **Brand Management:** Ensuring all digital content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent corporate identity across all platforms.

Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in communication and marketing, evidenced by a first-degree qualification. They should bring substantial experience in creating and managing digital content, coupled with a deep understanding of social media platforms and best practices. The requirements include:

  • A relevant first degree in Communication or Marketing.
  • 5-7 years of experience in creating or overseeing the creation of engaging digital content, including visual media like graphics and videos.
  • 5-7 years of extensive experience in social media management, encompassing platform expertise, campaign development, and robust community management.
  • A proven track record in developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies that have directly supported overall business objectives.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in digital marketing principles, including data analytics and reporting, as well as an understanding of digital content creation and visual marketing.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Competencies in adopting practical approaches, articulating information, developing expertise, creating strategies, embracing change, generating ideas, and managing corporate identity.
