About the Role

The Provincial Client Coverage Head will be instrumental in translating the overarching Private Banking and PPB Client Coverage strategies into tangible provincial execution. This involves identifying and capitalising on growth avenues, fostering seamless collaboration across various business units, and ensuring that Private Banking clients consistently receive an exceptional, value-driven banking experience. This leadership position demands a strategic outlook coupled with a hands-on approach to daily operations.

The core responsibilities of this multifaceted role include:

• Registration as a Key Individual with the relevant regulatory body, or eligibility to register, is essential.
• Successful completion of RE1 and RE5 examinations is a prerequisite.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience within the banking or financial services sector, with significant exposure to Private Banking, client coverage, sales leadership, and service delivery.
• Proven experience in leading teams, managing relationships with senior stakeholders, and achieving both financial and non-financial business outcomes.
• Substantial experience in credit application processes, credit arbitration, budgeting, forecasting, sales management, cost control, and risk governance.
• A thorough understanding of Private Banking products, client value propositions, portfolio management strategies, and the broader financial services landscape.
