Job Description

To provide advice and support in practice formulation and associated best practice improvement tactics; enabling the provision of specialist business development expertise. Selecting this role has a compensation & benefit impact in Personal loans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the regions and corporate and to work those opportunities to their successful conclusion.
  • Generate, evaluate and make recommendations on Personal Loans strategy as this relates to the customer value proposition and driving growth and sustainability from customer relationship portfolios.
  • Actively promote and manage the collaborative engagement of internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, suppliers, clients, service providers, business partners and other Absa entities.
  • Fulfil all activities in adherence to relevant control and compliance requirements, and quality standards.
  • Drive customer relationship management and delivering the sale of products and/or services, providing sales support and contributing towards business growth and sustainability through business development initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain sales data quality, governance, and integrity.
  • Leverage CRM systems (Salesforce) to track performance and customer insights.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting for pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales performance KPIs.
  • Support the design and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required).
  • Strong quantitative analysis capabilities.
  • Data storytelling and visualization.
  • Deep understanding of sales funnels and buyer journeys.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Communication and influencing skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
