Accounting Solutions Consultant

Rillet is seeking a dedicated Accounting Solutions Consultant to join their remote team. About the role

This position is central to the Rillet customer experience. You will act as the primary guide for new clients, helping them navigate the setup and adoption of the platform. Your success in this role depends on your ability to understand complex accounting requirements and translate them into actionable system configurations.

You will work closely with the product and engineering departments to bridge the gap between user needs and the platform’s technical capabilities. Because Rillet operates as a high-growth technology company, the environment is fast-paced, requiring you to balance multiple customer deployments simultaneously while ensuring that each client feels supported throughout their implementation journey.

Your daily responsibilities will revolve around project management, technical troubleshooting, and high-level client relationship management. You will be expected to:

• Lead the deployment process, ensuring that new clients are onboarded efficiently and meet their go-live milestones.
• Conduct detailed analysis of a client’s current financial workflows and identify opportunities for optimization through the Rillet platform.
• Oversee critical onboarding tasks, including data migration, complex system reconciliations, and the integration of secondary financial software.
• Facilitate training sessions and manage change within the client’s finance team to ensure high product adoption rates.
• Monitor progress, track project milestones, and proactively identify and mitigate risks that could delay a launch.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with both the client and internal stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned on deliverables.

Rillet requires a candidate with a robust background in finance and a strong aptitude for technology. They are looking for someone with:

• A minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience within accounting, auditing, financial advisory, or a comparable client-facing capacity.
• Deep functional knowledge of financial processes, including month-end closes, reconciliations, and revenue recognition standards like ASC 606.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on detail or accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical financial concepts to both non-technical users and senior executive stakeholders.
• Prior experience in a SaaS environment, a Big 4 firm, or within a technology-led business is considered highly advantageous.
