Manager: Contract / Relationship Management

To plan, manage and monitor the implementation of contract and relationship management activities and processes in order to deliver on approved operational plans in an effective and efficient manner.

• Strategic Planning and Implementation: Achieve operational excellence by effectively applying knowledge of the Contract/ Relationship Management strategy and its implementation by planning and managing the workload of self and others, including specifying initiatives, scheduling projects and preparing operating plans with a define area of activity.
• Contract/ Relationship Development: Recognised internally as a Subject Matter Expert in Contract/ Relationship Development and drives the greatest value out of relevant relationships.
• Coordinate and facilitate others in securing investment and resources both internally and from suppliers and establishes mutually beneficial business relationships.
• Contract/ Relationship Performance Management: Achieves operational excellence in Contract/ Relationship performance by effectively applying their knowledge of contract, supplier and relationship performance to manage suppliers.
• Contract / Service Management: Achieves operational excellence by simultaneously using their understanding of an individual, medium product / service agreement, and its legal language along with the proactive and effective application of their contract value delivery / service management knowledge.
• Risk Management: Ensure all Absa policies, procedures and activities required for areas documented and understood by all members of the various team and/or business areas.

• Bachelor’s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
