You will be responsible for translating client instructions into legally sound documents, ensuring they meet all requisite South African legislative requirements. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing the entire drafting process from instruction to final legality checks, striving to complete this within a 30-day timeframe. Providing an exceptional service experience for clients through efficient and high-quality work is paramount.
Key Responsibilities
A typical day in this role will involve a range of responsibilities focused on precision and client satisfaction:
- **Drafting and Reviewing Documents:** You will be tasked with preparing and scrutinising Wills, Trust Deeds, and other critical estate planning instruments. This includes accurately interpreting client instructions and ensuring all details are correctly recorded.
- **Technical Support and Guidance:** You will serve as a technical expert, providing essential drafting and estate planning support to FNB's channels. This involves advising on legal requirements and best practices within the Wills and Trusts landscape.
- **Client Service Excellence:** A significant aspect of the role is delivering service that exceeds client expectations. - **Educational Background:** A relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Estate Planning, Trust Administration, or a closely related field is a prerequisite.
- **Experience:** A minimum of two to five years of experience specifically in Wills drafting, estate planning, trusts, or legal practice is required.
- **Language Proficiency:** Full professional proficiency, both written and spoken, in English and Afrikaans is essential. Knowledge of isiXhosa, isiZulu, or Sesotho will be considered a significant advantage.
