Job Description

Above all, the manager's primary duty is to ensure the security of the estate, with the administration of eight employees—mostly gardeners—and an office manager coming in second. The Estate's budget, which is overseen by the Financial Director (FD), comes in third.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a similar Estate Manager, Facilities Manager, or General Manager role is required.

  • Experience in a residential estate, homeowners’ association, or sectional title environment is strongly preferred.

  • Matric (Grade 12) is the minimum requirement.

  • A relevant post-matric qualification in facilities management, property management, or a related field is preferred.

  • Sectional Title Knowledge

  • A valid Code B or Code C driver’s licence is required.
