  • Installing, configuring, patching, and managing PC software to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Conducting regular maintenance, cleaning, and testing of IT equipment and peripherals.
  • Managing IT asset tagging and maintaining accurate asset records.
  • Performing essential user account management tasks, such as password resets, within Active Directory and Google Workspace.

  • Conducting OS re-imaging and software installations as needed to maintain system integrity.
  • Ensuring that users' data backup requirements are consistently met.
  • Supporting site video conferencing and A/V equipment.
  • Installing patch cabling for essential network components like phones, servers, and switches.
  • Documenting IT procedures and guidelines for internal use and knowledge sharing.
  • Managing vendor relationships for equipment support, maintenance, and installation services.

  • A Higher Certificate or Advanced National Certificate in IT/Computing or a closely related field, along with a minimum of three years of dedicated IT support experience.
  • Alternatively, if formal qualifications are absent, a minimum of six years of relevant IT support experience will be considered.
  • Industry-recognised certifications such as A+, N+, or MCSA are highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated advanced troubleshooting skills across various IT domains.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and proficiency in supporting Apple Mac hardware.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Proven experience in desktop support and effective troubleshooting methodologies.
  • A solid understanding of wireless networks, network printer setup, and Local Area Networks (LANs).
