About the Role

As an AI Response Analyst, your primary function will be to meticulously evaluate the quality of AI-generated responses. You will be presented with an image, a prompt describing that image or a query related to it, and a response generated by an AI model. Your task is to act as a human validator, assessing whether the AI's output aligns with the visual information and the user's intent. This involves a nuanced understanding of accuracy, relevance, clarity, conciseness, safety, and adherence to specific instructions. You will be expected to articulate the reasoning behind your evaluations clearly and comprehensively in writing, contributing directly to the ongoing development and improvement of AI capabilities.

The day-to-day responsibilities of an AI Response Analyst are focused on critical assessment and detailed documentation. You will be tasked with:

• Carefully reviewing images in conjunction with the prompts and the AI's generated responses.
• Interpreting both the visual content of the image and the conversational context of the prompt and response before assigning a score.
• Comparing different AI-generated responses to the same prompt and ranking them according to a predefined set of criteria.
• Verifying that descriptions and claims made by the AI about an image accurately reflect its content.
• Utilising approved research sources to confirm any factual claims made in the AI's responses.
• Identifying and flagging any tasks that cannot be reliably evaluated due to ambiguity or other issues.
• Providing clear and well-reasoned justifications for every ranking and assessment you submit, ensuring transparency and auditability.
