If you are a forward-thinking leader with a passion for developing talent and achieving commercial success, FNB invites you to explore this exciting career path.
About the Role
As a Sales and Service Manager at FNB, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional client experiences within the Private Banking and Wealth Management sector. This involves not only fostering a high-performance culture but also ensuring that the team consistently meets and exceeds strategic sales, service, and risk management objectives. You will be instrumental in shaping how FNB engages with its affluent clientele, offering tailored lending solutions that meet sophisticated financial needs. This role demands a blend of commercial acumen, leadership prowess, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of a Sales and Service Manager are multifaceted, encompassing team leadership, sales strategy execution, client engagement, and risk management. Key duties include:

- **Driving Lending Growth:** Spearhead the implementation of lending strategies designed to achieve ambitious business and sales targets. This involves actively driving new client acquisition and deepening relationships with existing clients through innovative and effective lending solutions. You will monitor team performance against key financial, sales, and service metrics, identifying opportunities to enhance profitability and expand lending portfolios.
- **Ensuring Exceptional Client Experiences:** Champion a client-first approach, ensuring that clients receive personalised financial solutions that align precisely with their lending requirements. You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, product houses, and other business units to facilitate seamless service delivery. A critical aspect will be supporting the resolution of complex client queries and escalations.
- **Maintaining Credit Excellence and Risk Management:** Uphold stringent credit and lending practices across the team, overseeing the quality of credit submissions and lending recommendations. You will ensure strict adherence to all risk, compliance, governance, and legislative requirements. Proactive monitoring of portfolio quality and the implementation of corrective actions where necessary will be essential.
- **Enhancing Operational Efficiency:** Drive ongoing improvements in lending and service processes, monitoring team productivity and operational effectiveness. Leveraging data and insights to inform decision-making and improve client outcomes will be a key performance indicator. You will also ensure the efficient execution of end-to-end lending transactions.
