About the role

This position is designed for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a high level of technical proficiency. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for the integrity of the company’s financial records, focusing specifically on complex accounting domains. You will play a vital role in ensuring that month-end, quarter-end, and year-end cycles are executed with precision.

Beyond routine processing, this role is highly collaborative. You will act as a bridge between the accounting function and various internal stakeholders—including FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Legal—to ensure that global spend is accurately reflected. You will also be expected to advocate for operational excellence by identifying opportunities to automate manual workflows and strengthen internal controls.

Your daily contributions will involve managing a portfolio of accounting responsibilities that are critical to the company's financial reporting. These duties include:

• Taking ownership of the full-cycle accounting for investments, accruals, lease accounting, and cost allocations.
• Managing complex intercompany transactions and consolidation entries across multiple international legal entities.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to verify that financial commitments are captured completely and accurately.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors regarding your specific areas of responsibility during annual audits.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes and enhance the robustness of control frameworks.

• At least six years of progressive experience in accounting roles, ideally with a CPA qualification.

• Practical knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience managing multi-currency and multi-entity accounting structures.
• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders across the organisation.
