About the Role

This internship offers a structured, work-based learning experience within OUTsurance's Claims division. The successful candidate will play a supportive role, assisting the Motor Assessing team with their day-to-day activities. It's an excellent chance to gain exposure to the operational aspects of motor claims assessment, understanding the processes and contributing to the team's efficiency. The programme is a 12-month fixed-term agreement, intended to provide valuable work experience rather than permanent employment.

As an intern in the Motor Assessing team, your responsibilities will be diverse and focused on providing essential support. You will be involved in a range of administrative and operational tasks that are crucial for the smooth functioning of the department. This could include:

• Assisting with the processing and management of motor-related claims documentation.
• Supporting assessors in gathering information and preparing reports.

To be eligible for this INSETA-sponsored internship programme, candidates must meet specific criteria:

• Be a South African citizen.
• Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
• Have been unemployed for the last two months.
• Not have previously participated in an INSETA internship programme.

A Matric qualification or equivalent is required. A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field would be advantageous. Any prior knowledge or experience in automotive repair and maintenance would also be beneficial, though not essential.
