This role is focused on designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions, particularly AI agents and automated workflows, aimed at significantly boosting productivity across diverse business functions within the organisation. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building and maintaining these intelligent systems, ensuring they not only automate mundane tasks but also foster seamless collaboration between human teams and artificial intelligence. The initial phase of this position will see the successful applicant providing dedicated support to the company's AI and Risk Management team, laying the groundwork for broader AI integration as the company's capabilities expand.

A significant part of your work will involve the end-to-end lifecycle of AI agents and automated workflows, from conceptualisation and design through to development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. This includes ensuring these AI systems are robust, reliable, and safe, with comprehensive monitoring and logging in place to track their behaviour and adherence to established safety protocols. What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of AI development activities, all geared towards enhancing business productivity and operational efficiency. Key duties include:

• **Designing and Building AI Agents:** Creating intelligent agents capable of performing specific business tasks and enhancing operational workflows.
• **Developing Automated Workflows:** Engineering AI-powered processes to automate repetitive and time-consuming business activities, freeing up human resources for more strategic tasks.
• **Ensuring System Observability:** Implementing robust monitoring, logging, and observability mechanisms to track agent performance, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
• **Translating Business Requirements:** Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical development, converting their needs into effective AI solutions.
• **Building Scalable AI Applications:** Developing AI applications that can grow with the organisation's needs, ensuring long-term productivity gains and operational excellence.
• **System Integration:** Seamlessly integrating developed AI solutions with existing internal systems and external third-party platforms.
• **Identifying AI Opportunities:** Proactively scouting for areas within the business where AI can automate manual efforts, augment decision-making capabilities, and streamline operations.
• **Utilising Modern LLMs:** Leveraging state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs) in the development of AI applications.

• **AI Development Experience:** 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in building AI applications, AI agents, or workflow automation solutions.
• **LLM Proficiency:** Practical experience working with prominent AI models such as OpenAI's GPT, Anthropic's Claude, Google's Gemini, DeepSeek, Qwen, Llama, or similar advanced LLMs.
• **AI Development Tools:** Familiarity and experience with modern AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Genspark, Manus, OpenHands, or comparable platforms.
• **Programming Skills:** Basic proficiency in Python is essential, along with a solid understanding of prompt engineering techniques and the principles of AI workflow design.
