  • Dedicate yourself to providing optimal service delivery, consistently aiming to exceed client expectations through process improvement.
  • Proactively engage in client acquisition through strategic networking, leveraging referrals, and implementing effective business development initiatives.
  • Cultivate and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients to ensure sustainable business expansion.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling within the existing client base and utilise the comprehensive offerings of Wealth and Investments to deepen client relationships.
  • Consistently meet and surpass agreed-upon targets for sales, revenue generation, and asset growth.
  • Establish and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders, championing thought leadership and integrated financial solutions.
  • Contribute to budget development aligned with operational plans, monitoring effectiveness and reporting on variances.
  • Identify and implement strategies for revenue enhancement to achieve sales objectives.

What They're Looking For

FNB is looking for a candidate who can demonstrate a proven history of success in client acquisition, portfolio growth, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial mindset and a genuine passion for business development. Key requirements include:

  • A relevant qualification in investments, finance, or wealth management.
  • Full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including FAIS.
  • Non-negotiable previous experience in sales and business development within the wealth management, investment, stockbroking, private banking, or broader financial services sectors.
  • A demonstrable track record of successfully acquiring new clients, growing assets under management, and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in identifying and capitalising on cross-selling opportunities within an existing client base.
  • Strong capabilities in relationship management and professional networking.
  • An adaptable and curious nature, with the ability to analyse complex datasets.
  • A capacity to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
