Project Manager (Property Development)

Assegai Recruitment is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee approximately five concurrent property development projects across eThekwini.

• Manage and oversee multiple concurrent property development projects
• Prepare, monitor and control project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows
• Conduct cost planning, estimating and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage procurement: tendering, adjudication and contract administration
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and stakeholders across multiple workstreams
• Ensure compliance with contracts, health & safety, and regulatory requirements
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality and cost control

• Strong knowledge of contract administration (e.g., JBCC)
• Proficiency in MS Project and cost management software
• Excellent financial acumen and commercial awareness
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
