Project Manager (Mining & Heavy Engineering)

A decisive, hands-on Project Manager is sought to take full ownership of turnkey EPCM projects in the mining and heavy engineering sectors.

What You Will Own

• Full project delivery from concept and FDS through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover
• Commercial accountability for budgets, forecasts, quotations, orders, payment certificates and invoicing
• Client and stakeholder management to translate operational needs into executable solutions
• Safety and compliance, including adherence to the Mine Health and Safety Act
• Quality assurance through QCP and QC inspections and continuous improvement

Core Responsibilities

• Manage multidisciplinary teams across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation scopes
• Technical ownership: review designs, compile FDS, accept design and execution responsibility
• Project planning, scheduling, risk management and milestone control
• Drive on-time, on-budget execution and successful project handover

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Project Management within mining or heavy engineering
• BEng or BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical or Industrial Engineering
• Project Management qualification required
