Job Description
As a Risk Solution Delivery Manager at Liberty, you will be instrumental in driving the successful delivery of risk solutions within a dynamic agile operating framework. This role calls for a leader who can guide and empower cross-functional teams, ensuring they are aligned with strategic objectives and equipped to achieve measurable business value. You’ll champion a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, taking end-to-end ownership of the delivery process, moving beyond traditional project management to foster true value creation.
About the Role

This involves understanding the entire lifecycle of a risk solution, from initial concept through to deployment and ongoing monitoring, ensuring that each stage contributes to overall business success.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will span a broad range of activities aimed at optimising solution delivery:
- **Lead and Empower Teams:** Guide cross-functional squads, ensuring they have a clear vision and the autonomy to execute their strategic objectives.
- **Facilitate Value Delivery:** Act as the primary driver for value realisation within the agile operating model.
- **Drive Agile Practices:** Champion a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement, fostering a high-performing team environment.
- **End-to-End Ownership:** Manage the complete risk solution delivery lifecycle, from ideation and development to deployment and post-implementation review.
- **Develop MVP Options:** Assess desirability, viability, and feasibility to develop Minimum Viable Product (MVP) options and provide clear recommendations.
- **Prototype and Iterate:** Collaborate with IT and UX teams to rapidly prototype digitised or modernised solutions, employing a "fail fast" methodology for testing and correction.
- **Manage Scope and Procurement:** Create scopes of work for development, manage procurement processes, and facilitate functional analysis sessions.
- **Gather and Analyse Insights:** Collect customer insights, conduct thorough analyses, and oversee the redesign, development, deployment, monitoring, and measurement of outcomes for all iterations of the client journey.
- **Coach and Mentor:** Apply a servant-leader mindset to coach teams, build high-performing cultures, and foster accountability for results.
- **Manage Complex Projects:** Successfully deliver complex solutions within technology or financial services settings.

**Essential Qualifications and Experience:**
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 5 years in a technology delivery role, with a focus on developing and implementing solutions.
- 2-3 years of direct experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or Delivery Lead.
- Demonstrated experience working with technologies such as Java, Python, and APIs.
- Proven experience managing the delivery of intricate solutions, ideally within the technology or financial services sectors.
- Proficiency in using agile project management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- A robust understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, from discovery through to operation.
- Experience in managing projects that incorporate data science or data engineering components would be advantageous.
- A servant-leader approach, with a passion for team development and outcome accountability.
**Desirable Certifications:**
- A Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or a similar agile certification is preferred.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience required:
- 5+ years of experience in a technology delivery role with technology, develop MVP (Minimum Viable Product) options i.e. assessments (based on desirability, viability and feasibility) and recommendations,
- 2-3 years working as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or Delivery Lead.
- Proven experience working with Java, Python and/or APIs technology.
- Preferably a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or similar Agile certification.
- Proven experience managing the delivery of complex solutions in a technology or financial services environment or similar.
- Proven experience gathering customer insights, conduct analysis, redesign, development, deployment, monitoring, and measurement of outcomes for all iterations of the Client Journey
- Ensure rapid prototyping of digitised or modernised solutions together with IT and UX and this involves i.e. creating scope of work for development, executing procurement management processes, showcasing prototypes, test and correct methods (Fail Fast) and facilitates functional analysis sessions.
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- A strong understanding of the full software/solution development lifecycle, from discovery to deployment and operation.
- Proven experience managing projects with data science or data engineering components is a plus.
