The Digital Assessing Manager plays a pivotal role in steering the Digital Assessing function at Liberty. This leadership position is central to ensuring that claims are processed efficiently and with a strong focus on the customer experience. About the Role
This management position is at the heart of Liberty's digital claims assessment operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance and strategic direction of the Digital Assessing team. The manager will need to leverage technical expertise to guide the team, ensuring that all claim assessments are not only accurate and compliant with policy stipulations but also aligned with the company's commitment to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of the Digital Assessing Manager include:
- **Leading the Digital Assessing Function:** Directing the day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives of the digital claims assessment team.
- **Technical Oversight:** Providing expert guidance and ensuring the technical accuracy and integrity of claim assessments.
- **Customer Focus:** Championing a customer-centric approach to claims delivery, aiming for a seamless and positive experience for policyholders.
- **Process Improvement:** Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction through digital tools and methodologies.
- **Quality Assurance:** Implementing and monitoring quality control measures to guarantee consistent, accurate, and policy-aligned claim decisions.
- **Team Management:** Motivating, guiding, and developing the Digital Assessing team to achieve departmental and organisational goals.
- **Stakeholder Engagement:** Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective claims processing and resolution.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a strong foundation in claims assessment, ideally within the short-term insurance industry. The ideal profile includes:
- **Educational Background:** A Grade 12 (Matric) qualification is essential. A qualification in Short-Term Insurance at NQF Level 5 would be advantageous, as would qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Physical Planning.
- **Experience:** A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a Building Assessor is required. Furthermore, at least 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity within the Short-Term Insurance Industry is crucial.

Requirements
Type of Qualification:
Matric/ Grade 12
Short-Term Insurance qualification – NQF5 (Advantages)

Experience Required
