About the Role

This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation, architecting and developing high-performance, scalable mobile applications from the ground up. As a key member of the engineering team, you will leverage your deep expertise in React Native and TypeScript to bring HelpBnk's vision to life on mobile devices. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the mobile experience for HelpBnk users. Your responsibilities will encompass the full mobile application lifecycle, from initial technical design and prototyping through to the deployment and ongoing maintenance of applications on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. A critical aspect of this role involves the integration and proficient use of agentic AI tools, such as Claude Code and Cursor, as a core part of your daily workflow. You will be expected to master these tools to enhance productivity, maintain exceptionally high code quality, and expedite the development process. Furthermore, you will be tasked with staying abreast of the latest industry best practices and emerging technologies, continuously researching and implementing innovative solutions to ensure HelpBnk’s mobile offerings remain at the cutting edge.

What They're Looking For

To thrive in this position, you should possess a minimum of five years of professional experience in mobile development, coupled with an in-depth understanding of both the iOS and Android ecosystems. Senior-level expertise in React Native and TypeScript is essential. A strong command of state management solutions, including but not limited to Zustand and Redux, and proven experience integrating with RESTful APIs are also vital. Familiarity with native build tools such as Xcode and Android Studio, along with experience in setting up and managing mobile CI/CD pipelines using tools like Fastlane or GitHub Actions, will be highly beneficial.

A non-negotiable requirement for this role is a demonstrated ability to effectively utilise AI coding agents. You should be able to showcase how you have leveraged these tools to boost your productivity and ensure the delivery of meticulously crafted, high-quality code.
