About the Role
The Client Coverage Associate will act as a key point of contact for assigned public sector clients. This position involves a blend of strategic relationship management and hands-on execution. You will coordinate with senior relationship managers, leveraging their expertise to understand client requirements thoroughly. The core of this role is to develop and deliver client-centric solutions that address specific challenges and opportunities within the public sector landscape. Success will be measured not only by client satisfaction but also by the effective management of risk and the achievement of financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of client management within the public sector:
- **Client Relationship Management:** Proactively manage and deepen relationships with assigned public sector clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- **Solution Origination and Execution:** Work with internal teams to identify client needs and develop, propose, and implement bespoke financial solutions.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Engage effectively with various internal departments, including credit, risk, operations, and product specialists, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- **Research and Analysis:** Conduct in-depth research and analysis of client data, market trends, and economic conditions to provide valuable insights.
- **Documentation and Presentation:** Prepare comprehensive client documentation, including presentations, proposals, and memoranda, to articulate insights and proposed solutions.
- **Risk and Compliance Management:** Ensure all client engagements adhere to regulatory requirements and internal risk management frameworks.
- **Performance Monitoring:** Track client portfolio performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- **Client Experience Enhancement:** Strive to deliver a superior client experience at every touchpoint, fostering long-term partnerships.

- **Educational Background:** A relevant first-degree qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- **Experience:**
- 3-4 years of experience in conducting research, analysing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
- 3-4 years of experience in compiling client-facing documentation, such as presentations and reports.
- 3-4 years of demonstrated understanding and experience in client coverage capabilities.
- 3-4 years of experience working within cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
- 3-4 years of experience in portfolio management, including stakeholder collaboration, query resolution, compliance, and reporting.
- 3-4 years of experience and a proficient understanding of credit and risk principles.

Requirements
Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Business Commerce
Experience Required
3-4 years experience in conducting research, analysis, interpreting and packaging qualitative and quantitative data, such as compiling client documentation (presentation books, presentations, memoranda, and other presentation materials) to share insight and create client value.
3-4 years experienced and understanding of the Client Coverage capabilities.
3-4 years experience working in cross functional teams to deliver comprehensive client experience.
3-4 years experience in portfolio management - internal stakeholder collaboration, query management, compliance, reporting, middle office support, etc.
3-4 years experience and proficient understanding of credit and risk.
