Before the Interview
Research the company thoroughly. Visit their website, read recent news articles, and check their social media. Understand their products, services, values, and culture.
Prepare answers to common questions:
- Tell me about yourself
- Why do you want to work here?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Where do you see yourself in five years?
- Why should we hire you?
Dress Appropriately
When in doubt, dress one level above the company's dress code. For corporate roles in Johannesburg or Cape Town, a suit or smart business attire is expected. For creative or tech roles, smart casual may be appropriate.
